Hi, I’m Ann Marie!
I’m an award-winning Minneapolis newborn photographer, receiving a Master of Newborn Photography designation by the National Association of Portrait and Child Photographers in 2024, and am certified in baby safety. My baby photography goes beyond just taking pictures, to celebrating your journey to parenthood - which for some families has been long awaited! As a mom of three girls, I approach my newborn photography with an empathetic heart, patience, and a great deal of love for you! Newborn Milestone Collection
Three full lifestyle sessions over one year, covering milestones like Newborn, 3 or 6 months, and 1 year (or Maternity, Newborn, and One Year).
20 full resolution digital images to keep from each session. Each session’s gallery will contain at least 40 images. Option to upgrade.
You will also receive a specially designed 8x8 photo book with photos from each session. Payment in 3 installments throughout the year.

We recommend booking your Minneapolis newborn session at least 2 months before your due date to secure your preferred date. We plan every session in detail, so early booking ensures the best experience for your family."

At AMG Photography we don't have a mandatory age requirement. Most newborn sessions take place when baby is between 2-4 weeks old, when you feel ready as a new family.

Please schedule at least two months in advance to allow for adequate time to plan your session.
After you complete your client scheduling form you will have a pre-session zoom call with me to select your date and plan details.

I have prepared a Newborn Session Prep Guide to give you all the details you need to have the best newborn photography experience. This guide contains everything from how to prepare baby for your special day, styling information, tips for a positive experience with siblings, and some of the things you can expect at my beautiful Minneapolis studio.

Prior to your session, you will be sent styling and a link to my client wardrobe from which you may choose dresses and outfits for mom and children as well as a guide for what dad should wear. Your dresses will be hanging in the changing area when you arrive and outfits and wraps for baby will be on a table for you to choose from!

Newborn sessions at AMG Photography are baby-led and take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. We never rush — time is always given for feeding, diaper changes, and family connection.

No worries at all! Babies can be unpredictable and we listen to their cues. I am a mom of three and I understand what you are going through! I fully expect there will be moments when baby will cry or be fussy. We simply stop, take our time, and meet their needs. Plus, sometimes the most beautiful pictures are when mom is feeding or comforting her child. The same is true for any toddlers that might be a part of your session. I make sure to give them breaks to run off and play in between photos. We will go with the flow! Just know that these moments are expected and embraced!
