Newborn Photographers in Minneapolis With a Studio
When people search for a Newborn Photographer in Minneapolis with a studio, they might not realize that there are options as to what kind of studio experience they can have. The first thing that comes to mind may be a traditional studio which uses artificial light, doesn’t have any windows, and has artificial backdrops. Think J.C. Penney vibes! However, there are studios in Northeast Minneapolis which are just the opposite. I am a lifestyle newborn photographer whose studio allows clients to feel like they are at home! My studio is in the Strong Scott Building on 451 Taft Street N.E. in Minneapolis. The studio space is filled with natural light from 15 foot windows. There is a seating area where music is playing. Coffee and tea are available in the small kitchenette. A changing room is right next to changing area for baby. As soon as you walk in the door, all of the amenities you will need will be present so that you can relax!
A Newborn Photographer Studio in the Twin Cities Offering Wardrobe and Styling
The last thing you want to worry about after just having a baby and being sleep deprived is figuring out what to wear or how to do your make-up! This is why my newborn studio experience is such a blessing to each and every client. The studio is home to an inclusive client wardrobe in sizes for every woman that are both curated to be flattering for women who have just had a baby and are also incredibly beautiful. I also provide outfits and wraps for baby and siblings and styling guidance for dad. The studio also has a professional make-up mirror where moms have the option to have their hair and make-up done prior to their shoot. At booking I provide them with a list of my professional hair and make-up stylist referrals. Their chosen stylist will be ready and waiting for them upon their arrival. While they are experiencing a little pampering before their shoot, I am busy preparing the studio area for their session! All of these details are discussed during your pre-session consultation so that you can arrive for your session feeling prepared and excited! I want every mom to feel confident in front of the camera and also see this as an opportunity to celebrate their baby. By providing clients with a luxury experience, my newborn photography studio becomes something that families see as special and unforgettable!
“My family and I had the greatest pleasure working with Ann Marie. It was our first family photoshoot and we did a newborn photoshoot for our second baby. Ann Marie made the whole day feel so effortless. She made us feel so comfortable during the entire session and the whole experience was enjoyable for all of us. Even my three yr old absolutely loved Ann Marie! The whole experience from the time we booked the session, selecting wardrobe options for the whole family to the day of the session was seamless. She even had a list of makeup artists for me to choose from. The whole vibe of the studio, the session and Ann Marie was soothing for all of us and everyone felt so at ease during the photoshoot....””
Is there a Newborn Studio in Minneapolis Offering Both Candid and Traditional Baby Pictures?
Yes! I am one of the only photographers in the Twin Cities who provides both candid images of your entire family loving on your new baby as well as those beautiful images of baby alone in every newborn session. Including your entire family or siblings is not an “add-on”, but is a standard part of every session. Clients receive both pictures of baby swaddled with all of the pretty details like flower crowns or bonnets and lying in a pretty bassinet, while also incorporating real life images of your family together. Your newborn photos not only preserve memories of what your baby looked like, but they are a reflection of what your entire family was like during this very special time. Capturing the details of family life and the corresponding memories is the foundation of my newborn photography. One day, when baby is all grown up, they will love seeing how loved they were by their mom and dad, the goofiness of their big brother, or the sweetness of their sisters.
This is why choosing the right kind of studio for your newborn pictures is important. If you want traditional pictures of baby alone, then maybe a studio designed for only that is best for you. However, if you want a studio space that can incorporate real life scenarios of your family interacting together, then a natural light studio will be the right choice for you.
A Minneapolis Photography Studio that Welcomes Pets
My newborn studio is a very welcome place for dogs and, yes, cats too! For many families, their pets are like their first child and having them present in their photos is a really important part of preserving their memories. Because dogs and cats are part of your family, too, they are always welcome at my studio for newborn pictures. I have structured my studio space so that it is safe for both children and dogs to roam around and play! Treats are always on hand to help entice them into a picture. When they are not in the frame, it is just fine for them to roam around and sniff everything out! I have found that having their dogs as a part of their sessions brings them so much joy. There is nothing better than seeing your fur baby cuddle up next to your newborn baby! These often end up being families’ favorite pictures. Providing a newborn studio experience that welcomes pets while also taking care of all of the amenities for families is part of the reason that families have such an incredible experience. They leave their sessions feeling surprised at how relaxing everything was and excited about the preserved memories that were made!
Are you ready to book a beautiful and relaxing newborn photography experience at my Minneapolis’s studio? I can’t wait to welcome you!
