A Minneapolis Photography Studio Perfect for Newborns, Maternity, and Family!
A perfect spot for a beautiful, natural light session with a homey feel!
The studio will be set up with couches, cozy rugs, and even a bed so that it has a variety of settings for your session. Newborn Sessions provide you with a variety of wraps, baskets, and cozy blankets to choose from. The dressing room and kitchenette allow you to relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments during your session as well. My Client Wardrobe for moms is on hand and ready for you to choose a number of dresses as well.
FAQs
Is there free parking at the studio?
Yes! The studio is in the Strong Scott Building which is located in the arts district of N.E. Minneapolis where all street parking is free. You may conveniently park on the wide, quiet street next to the entrance to the studio and enter door 3 or you may park in the lot at the end of the building next to The Norseman.
Are dogs Allowed?
Fur babies are always welcome in the studio. They are family too! I simply ask that they have good behavior and are well potty trained.
When is the best time for photo sessions in the studio?
Any time! The light is bright and airy in the morning and more dramatic in the afternoon providing for beautiful sunset light in the studio. For newborn sessions, we will typically start at 10:00 or 1:00 so you can avoid traffic and keep baby happy!
Will I be able to change and feed my baby?
Absolutely! I have a clean changing table available for you, as well as plenty of private, quiet areas for you to nurse! Both of these things are expected, and are included as a part of your session time, so no need to rush!
What is the studio like?
The studio space is very large and filled with beautiful natural light from the almost floor to ceiling windows. There is a comfortable seating area where your can relax, have a snack, or feed baby, a small kitchenette filled with snacks and beverages, a professional make-up mirror, changing station for baby, and a changing room for your whole family. Soft music will welcome you when you arrive and you will be able to sit back and relax while I take care of all the details!
Is the studio safe for kiddos to play?
The studio is a large, comfortable space where kiddos are free to run and play! I will have some special toys and books ready for them to use as well as snacks!
What about your client wardrobe?
Prior to your session you will have received a link to my women’s and children’s client closet where you will select dresses and outfits you love. All and more will be hanging up and waiting for you when you arrive. You may choose to try on as many as you wish! I have a private changing room for your comfort, as well as a large makeup mirror for any touch-ups!
