Ann Marie: A Minneapolis Photographer Led by a Momma’s Heart
Hello from the heart of Minnesota! I'm Ann Marie, a devoted mom to three incredible daughters, a partner to my best friend of over 20 years, and an avid traveler with a soul enriched by my Peace Corps experiences. I believe that we all are on a journey that is filled with challenges that shape us. The deeply personal experiences we go through as families - whether it's the loss of a child followed by new life, the difficulties of trying to become parents culminating in a long-awaited baby, or a child's health issues that alter a family's path, or simply the milestones of regular family life - are all meaningful stories worth honoring and preserving. My photography seeks to preserve these stories for each client in an artistic way so that they can see the beauty in them.
As a photographer, writer, and former non-profit executive, I find joy in blending my artistic passion with a heart for service. As part of my work to document the lives of families across the Twin Cities, I have a special initiative called ‘Images of Strength and Hope.' This special program is dedicated to families and individuals navigating special needs or recovering from trauma. 'Images of Strength and Hope' is photography which celebrates resilience, love, and, most importantly, hope, through the lens of those who have braved life's toughest challenges.

Hi! I’m Maya, and I’ve been a part of AMG Photography for about six years. I started working for Ann Marie (my amazing mom) in high school, and it’s been such a fun journey watching her grow her business! I’m a recent graduate of Luther College, and I am currently continuing my education by studying web design. I handle everything to do with styling — client closet organization, try-ons, style boards, and more! I have developed our styling process to be as seamless and easy for you as possible, and I am always here to help you look your best for your session! In addition to styling, I take care of our social media, update our website, and work with clients to design their personalized photo books.
