Hi! My name is Ann Marie and I have been a lifestyle family photographer for ten years. Prior to being a photographer, I was a teacher in the Peace Corps and then a non-profit executive. I have always had a heart for service, a love of teaching, and a gift for artistry. I have combined all of these experiences and passions to shape my photography business, and I want to share it all with you! From how to serve your ideal client, to defining your story, to enhancing your level of artistry in your work, I make every workshop and mentoring session a truly personal experience that celebrates your gifts and helps you and your business grow into what you dream it to be!
Through all of these education opportunities, my hope is to help you enhance your approach to lifestyle newborn and family photography through artistic shooting techniques, styling, special client services, and beautiful editing.

I have partnered with Finding North Photography Collective to teach you all about my newborn lifestyle photography! In my two-part class, I take you behind the scenes of two newborn sessions, teach you all my tips and tricks for working with families, share my camera settings, take you through an editing tutorial, and more! This collective has so much to offer photographers looking to expand their knowledge, from editing tutorials to camera work and more!

One-on-One In Person Mentorships
$600 plus tax.
Mentorship Includes:
In-person pre-session meeting at my studio or a coffee shop.
Hands-on, fully styled shoot with family, maternity, or motherhood models. Golden hour or in-studio.
We will review: creative shooting techniques, styling, posing prompts that illicit natural and emotive images, tips for engaging children, how to use textures, natural fabrics, flowers, etc. for added beauty.
Editing techniques, a review of 5 of your images from the session, as well as tips to address your greatest challenges! Images may be used for portfolio growth.

Six-Month Mentorships
Let’s work together to strengthen your brand and talk about all the ins and outs of creating a photography business. Through this mentorship, I’ll help you define your mission and goals as a foundation for developing your business strategy. This experience is moldable to your interests and needs within the scope of branding, shaping your creative marketing strategy, and client relations. I’m here to share what I’ve learned over the past ten years of building a successful lifestyle photography business!
$1200 plus tax, with the option to pay in installments. A fully styled shoot catered to your focus (newborn, maternity, etc.) may be added on for an additional $450.
This Package Includes:
A six-month mentorship.
One initial in-person meeting, and one hour-long Zoom meeting once each successive month.

Workshops
$350 plus tax.
I host two workshops a year, one outdoors in the summer or fall and one indoors in the winter. The outdoor shoot will typically be maternity or motherhood, and the indoor shoot will be newborn. We will talk about camera settings, client relations, and everything in between! I’ll share some of my favorite shooting techniques and guide you throughout the workshop. This is a great way to build your portfolio, enhance your camera skills, and get some good experience, all while building community with other local photographers!
Workshops Include:
Discussion of camera techniques, with me and your fellow photographers.
Hands-on, fully styled shoot with family, maternity, or motherhood models, at golden hour in the summer and in-studio in the winter.
A small-group environment of a maximum of five photographers.
An editing video where I talk through my editing process with one of my images from our session, and a review of your edited images. Images will be useful building portfolios!
The Summer 2025 Workshop will focus on creating storytelling family sessions with families with older kids. August 13, 2025 at 6:30.

Online Education Membership
