The Best Senior Photos Reflect Who You Are | Twin Cities Senior Photographer

Spring is upon us and that means Senior Photography sessions start to fill up my calendar. Senior portraits are some of my favorite sessions. Whether in my Minneapolis photography studio, the streets of downtown Minneapolis, or by Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata, there are so many locations in the Twin Cities to choose from for these sessions. One of the main reasons I enjoy these sessions is because of what they represent. To me, senior photography is a celebration of who your child is, their aspirations for the future, and a preservation of a part of their childhood. Before they set off on their own and begin to make choices or go on independent adventures, parents have this one moment to capture who they are as their child. In every photo there is glimpse of that smile that they have had since they were toddlers, a twinkle in their eye that faintly reminds you of when they were a mischievous 7 year old, or the look on their face while they are laughing that sparks in your memory sounds of sleep overs when they were in middle school. This is the gift that senior portraits provide a family. It is the history of your child all summed up in a moment a they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

Just a note on Senior Sessions this year, I have a limited number of spaces available, so, please book as soon as possible. Sessions include multiple outfits (I have a changing tent that I will bring along for outdoor changes), and two locations that are within close proximity to one another. Sessions are up to two hours maximum. In order to help you prepare for your session, I have prepared a welcome guide for you as well. This will give you tips on everything from making that perfect location choice to what to wear. Did you know that you also receive a complimentary image with a loved one (like mom!) or a close friend? Check out my Senior Session page for more information and to access the scheduling form.
