A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. A time to grow in the art of storytelling family photography. A place to connect with other photographers who genuinely care about their work and supporting each other. Ann Marie is hosting this retreat at a luxury property called Northpoint Cove in Deerwood, MN. Enjoy photographing a variety of styled shoots on a private beach, in the woods, and inside this beautiful property.

Three lifestyle photo sessions, styled, yet easy to incorporate into your own work. Build a portfolio that enhances your work, yet fits what you already do!

❋ Storytelling Photo Sessions

This retreat is intentionally small - up to 6 people. This allows for individual instruction, a relaxing shooting environment in which there is no competition, but rather space to share ideas and explore your creativity.

From editing techniques to ways to stage your sessions in a way that focuses on simplicity and light to strategies for building your business, we will work as a group to address all of your needs!

Enjoy this luxury property on a beautiful lake in the Brainerd Lakes area. Sauna and hot tub , gym and private beach are all for you to enjoy! Close to the charming town of Crosby which has fun shops and cafes. We will have time to connect and have fun in addition to growing in our creativity!

How It Works

  • Sign up and pay the deposit of $595 plus tax (non-refundable but transferable). Payments are then made in installments due: February 15, 2027 and final payment by June 15, 2027.

    2 spots available for private rooms each with King Sized bed available: $2,200 per person

    3 spots available for a shared room which consists of: Private bath, 1 King sized bed, and a loft with three separate beds. $1,795 per person

  • Early bird discount through November 30, 2026.

    Private Room: $1995

    Shared Room: $1,595

    Same process: pay booking fee of $595 by November 30th to receive early bird pricing and then in two installments: February 15 and June 15th

  • Camera, laptop, comfy clothing, swim suit, and a fun outfit too!

  • Homemade meals and drinks are provided. Saturday lunch is on you in downtown Crosby.
